Calvin comes to Missouri from Michigan! When he isn’t helping our clients get relief from their debt, he is reading novels or non-fiction books to learn more about the world around him. Calvin’s favorite hobby, however, is rock-climbing. Several years ago, a friend suggested that he try it and he spends most of his weekends trying to find a new challenging course to climb. Calvin said of his hobby, “It’s a good work out, I get to be outdoors, and it’s challenging. I really connect to it.” Calvin’s love of the wild outdoors has taken him to many different places to see America’s most natural wonders. One of the coolest places he has been is Shawnee National Park in Southern Illinois. The national forest and beautiful camping grounds reminded Calvin of the beauty he can see right outside his window.
Calvin practices in bankruptcy and general consumer law. At Castle, he makes sure that our clients know what to expect throughout the course of their bankruptcy. He also takes care of any questions or concerns that our clients have before their case is filed. Calvin helps clients get to the best part of their journey through bankruptcy—the discharge. He works to make sure that clients can finally get that fresh start they’ve been waiting for since they first got into debt. Calvin sees to it that our client’s lives become easier and stress-free, which is the true purpose of bankruptcy.
Calvin attended Washington University in St. Louis and graduated in 2008 with his Juris Doctorate and Masters in Business Administration. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Calvin also has a master’s degree in business from WashU. His bachelor’s degree is in History and from the University of Michigan.
Why is Calvin so dedicated to helping families through some of their hardest times? “Because people deserve a fair chance to restart their lives,” replies Calvin. He notes that companies reorganize all the time through bankruptcy without any stigma or shame. The hard-working individuals in our country deserve that same chance and Calvin is always prepared to help them do that.
