• Find the best attorney in your area regardless of where they are located. John Doe, Attorney at Law might be located the next street over from your house but that doesn’t mean that he is good or qualified to handle your debt.

• Check their history. Do they have any client testimonials or results to speak of? If you can’t find any satisfied customers, it may not mean they are bad…but do you really want to take the risk?

• Find all of their information before you knock on their door. Do they have a website with answers to your questions? Have they released any publications? Are they part of any bankruptcy associations? The answers to these questions are all important when putting your family’s well-being in someone else’s hands.
